Within the recently adopted RSPO Principles and Criteria (P&C) 2018, human rights standards have been brought to the forefront. Criteria 4.1 requires members to adopt a policy for the protection of human rights defenders, whistleblowers, complainants, and community spokespersons by RSPO members.
To provide more insight about this requirement, the RSPO Secretariat will be hosting a webinar to understand Principle 4.1, and its impacts to its business as well as the surrounding communities. There will also be an opportunity for Q & A at the end of the webinar.
We would like to invite all existing and prospective RSPO members to join us for this informative session on Thursday, 30 May 2019, from 8pm – 9pm (MYT), hosted by Prasad VS, the Human Rights & Social Standards Executive.
