Time: 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Location: Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus
Event Type:

We are pleased to announce that the RSPO Shared Responsibility Task Force (SRTF) will hold a public consultation workshop on 26 June 2019 (new date) in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

The public consultation workshop in Chicago will be held at the same location as the SAI Platform Annual Event 2019 and Field to Market event.

While the 2018 Principles & Criteria (P&C)  are applicable to the production of sustainable palm oil, the RSPO Code of Conduct for Members, clause 3.2, applicable to all members, requires: “Members to whom the P&C do not apply directly will implement parallel standards relevant to their own organisation, which cannot be lower than those set out in the P&C.” It was agreed during the 2018 P&C Review that a transparent process was needed to address this aspect of the Code and the Shared Responsibility Taskforce (SRTF) was submitted to the Board of Governors and subsequently endorsed in September 2018.
