RSPO Peatland Working Group 2 recently convened to update guidance produced by the PLWG (2010-2012) and provide additional guidance in relation to RSPO P&C 2013. PLWG 2 had its first meeting in March 2017 in Kuala Lumpur to develop a  strategy towards achieving the group’s overall objective and expected outputs.

Members of RSPO PLWG-2 are calling for all members, with experience in implementing either, or both RSPO Manuals on BMPs to provide your feedback and relevant experience to RSPO Secretariat.

In view of the urgent need to refine ‘drainability assessment for peatland’ guidance, the WG is urgently calling for members with relevant experience in conducting drainability assessment and/or in planning for replanting on peatlands, to contact RSPO Secretariat, [email protected].
