Tristar Global Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian private equity company specializing in the export and trade of palm oil and derivative products. The company office is located in Kuala Lumpur. The company is licensed to Trade in Palm Oil by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board. The company was established in 2000 by the current board of Directors. Over the last 11 years the company has steadily increased turnover and grown its customer base.The origins of the company go back nearly 30 years to when the directors went to work in Palm Oil Mills and Refining plants. Prior to forming Tristar, the directors held senior commercial positions with some of the largest companies in the Malaysian Palm Oil industry.The company has traditionally traded in the Asian Markets. Increasing demand from the rest of the world has meant that an increasing proportion of trades are now global in nature. Tristar Global's mission is to provide environmentally sustainable,  high quality long term cost effective solutions to customers that require physical supplies of palm oil and its derivative products for human or animal consumption and for industrial purposes We consider our commitment to sustainable Palm Oil vital to both our continued commercial success and the to preserving the Malaysian environment in which we enjoy to live.

Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

    Internally we will communicate our policy on RSPO through staff briefings and written information
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    We will generate and adhere to written procedures covering purchasing and verification of certification
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    We will establish supplier and internal performance targets and monitor progress on achieving such criteria
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    We have been approached by several European based customers who have asked us to develop a RSPO certifiable supply chain for the numerous Palm Oil derived products they purchase
