Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
Internally, F&N?s Food and Beverage (F&B) division will promote awareness of RSPO, its developments and activities through sustainability-related awareness sessions, company e-newsletters and other publications.

Externally, through internal coordination and consumer education, retailers and customers will be aware that F&N is a member of RSPO and supports the use of CSPO. We will apply to attach the RSPO Trademark logo to our products at a later date to further affirm this when we are ready.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
F&N?s F&B division will examine how to modify their business processes and infrastructures as they work towards incorporating the increasing use of CSPO for their products. They will also support MSPO (Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil) and engage their key suppliers to look into providing CSPO supplies.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
F&N?s F&B division will be guided by MSPO, RSPO and other relevant regulatory guidelines on CSPO.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
The membership of RSPO will enable the businesses of F&N?s F&B division to have increased credibility by providing leverage when fostering the wider use of CSPO in the region.
