Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    AVOM will promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders by;
    · Including RSPO P&C during our SHE induction for new employees and visitors.

    · all future Joint Venture projects will include commitment & compliance to RSPO P&C in the agreements or a timeline to ensure compliance to the RSPO P&C.

    · formalise education on the RSPO to all employees and stakeholders.

    · Consider the RSPO in all existing company policy reviews.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    The processes which AVOM has established to engage with interesting parties include;
    · Establishing and implementing Grievance procedures.

    · Educate/engage suppliers on the advantages of producing sustainable products. Will educate stakeholders on the benefits we have obtained by complying to the RSPO.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    AVOM will work towards implementing the RSPO P&C and assessing supplier performance against these criteria by;
    · Adhering to established time schedules for annual surveillance audits

    · Undertaking 3rd party audits of suppliers against the RSPO P&C. Will include the periodic assessment of suppliers against the RSPO P&C in all future supply agreements.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    By joining the RSPO, AVOM expects to;
    · gain a good corporate image

    · receive premiums for its certified products

    · penetrate new markets with its certified products


    AVOM will support RSPO by;
    · Active participation in RSPO open day activities in their region.

    · Accessibility of their facilities (& production data) for use by RSPO in ways that will not negatively affect their business.
