EDNA International GmbH

EDNA International GmbH was founded in 1951 as a small bakery by Anton Meitinger and is located in Zusmarshausen-Wollbach. In 1987 the company build a production plant for deep frozen bakery products in Neunkirchen and named this plant EDNA Tiefkuehlkost GmbH. When production of fresh bakery products stopped and the whole company specialised on the production of deep frozen products, the company was renamed to EDNA International GmbH. The company is still today under the ownership of the family Meitinger. There are three production sites (Zusmarshausen, Brehna, Neunkirchen) with 16 production lines. Products belong to one product group - frozen bakery products - as bread, baguette, rolls, fried pastry (Berliner), sweat pastry, puff pastry, lye products, pretzel, cakes and pies altogether over 1000 articles currently. We produce only our own brand products. Customers are hotels, restaurants, catering, bakery and industry.

    We have nominated a person responsible for RSPO, who is responsible for all issues regarding RSPO.
    We share the information on palm oil and our membership in RSPO with all of our employees by notices, flyers, meetings and e-mails as well as post on our intranet.
    We promote the RSPO on our web-site and to our customers by flyers.
