PT Wahana Citra Nabati is a palm and lauric oil refinery which is located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Since our inception in 1999, we have grown to be a reputable company which aims to provide the best quality of palm products to the local market. With a capacity of 10,000mt per month to process crude palm oil, our aim is to satisfy the local market. Our finished products such as RBD Palm Olein, RBD Palm Oil are widely used in many consumer products with globally recognized brands. Growing awareness of the sustainability issue of palm oil worldwide, it is imperative that our company must be a member of the reputable RSPO organization. Our clients which range from multinational food companies to oleo chemical companies have grown more awareness of the issue that palm oil consumers and producers are facing currently. We are confident that we would be a responsible member which is able to contribute to realize RSPO goals.

Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    We will conduct internal training based on RSPO guideline to raise awareness within our staff especially for production, quality and procurement department. For our clients, we will inform that we are an RSPO member and will comply with RSPO guideline as well as support RSPO. Many of our clients are global company food producers. New guidelines in RSPO code of conduct will be distributed internally as well as raised with our suppliers.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    Selection process of purchasing raw material will be in preference basis aiming to those suppliers that are RSPO certified.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    We will promote internally awareness of preferably selecting suppliers that are members of RSPO and keeping abreast with new information and guidelines that may be incorporated by RSPO.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    PT Wahana Citra Nabati aims to be an active member of RSPO and contributes to communicates to clients on the importance of sustainable palm oil production and hence link it to its consumptions.
