    Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
Management currently attends POC in Malaysia each year and has followed the progress of RSPO in these annual meetings. We intend to send additional members of our staff to attend more RSPO specific meetings to ensure that the message is spread within the company .We plan to advise clients of our membership of RSPO which we see as an extension of our commitments to meeting the best practices in our industry for example being certified to International Standards such as ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 22000:2005 as well as Official Halal Certification for our products.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
We are already currently importing and producing sustainable palm oil products as well as dealing with only rspo certified/member organizations and we intend to continue with this current practice.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
Our main focus will be on ensuring that all suppliers we deal with are genuinely committed to RSPO principles and we will endeavor to verify this wherever practical between plantation viists and verification of documentation from time to time.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
As stated previously we see membership of RSPO as a natural extension to our already demonstrated commitment to adhering the best practices in our industry . We feel it is right to contribute as best as we can to help improve the whole industry by making our contribution - no matter how small we are in the whole scheme of things.
