Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
We will communicate our adhesion and regularly other current events. In order to promote the RSPO to other stakeholders like customers we send the Company Statement and/or more precise letters according the aimed product.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
The Company Statement will be communicated in order to illustrate our will to study the possibility to use products obtained from sustainable palm oil. That is an example which shows how our company will work to respect its commitments.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
Our organization has already implemented most of RSPO principles with its quality and environmental policy. Indeed, SEPPIC is certified ISO 9001 since 1998 and 14001 since 2000. Our suppliers are inspected and performance against RSPO principles is evaluated (ISO 9001 and 14001). We are going to strengthen the criteria of supplier's choice according to principles RSPO.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
Joining the RSPO, we will have more contacts with other RSPO members. We hope this will bring us more information and more possibilities to use products obtained from sustainable palm oil. We also want to be able to certify to our customers that our products stemming from these ingredients.
