Pozna? Onion Ltd. is very experienced fried onion producer. Company was established in January 1999 by Henryk Buczak from Poland and Beyer Development Aps from Denmark. In January 2007 company became member of Dragsbaek Group, which is the member of the Norwegian Capital Group ORKLA ? the leading manufacturer and distributor of products designed for the bakery and confectionery all over Norway and Europe.

Fried onion is prepared only from natural and carefully selected and certified ingredients (onion, wheat flour, palm oil and salt) and it is a delicious addition to soups, sauces and salads, sandwiches, casserole and hot dogs, mashed potatoes and dumplings, meats and fish, fried eggs, baked sausages and many other dishes that adds unique flavour and aroma. It is perfect for baking onion breads and buns. It can be also consumed as delicious and healthy onion crisps.

Thank of the top of production line equipment (including "FrySafe system") and revolutionary production method, company guarantees the high quality product with gold colour, crunchy consistency, fresh aroma and great taste.

The main aims of company are constant development and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards, all to satisfy customers. Company performs regular ingredient and final product quality controls to ensure that it meets all required health and safety regulations. As a proof of dedication, since 2005, it has been holding the BRC and IFS quality certificates. The next step is taking care of environment especially rain forests, so wants to cooperate with producers of RSPO palm oil and wants to be a member of this organisation.

Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    We prove our customers that we use RSPO palm oil in our production by presenting them certificates.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    We are opened for external certification in our company to make sure that we are using only RSPO palm oil.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    On packages of our product we will place information about RSPO.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    We take care of envoirment especially rain forests which can be destroyed by not legal palm oil production. Therefore we decided to prove that we are using raw material of palm oil from controlled plantations.
