Grissin Bon started its activity as a bakery company in the 1950s. The first name of the company was Grissineria Reggiana and it was closely modeled on small and traditional bakery shop. The founder, Nevino Bernardelli, was himself an experienced backer and applied his artisanal process to his new company. In 1960s the original production of bread and breadsticks was extended with ?pancarré? (Italian sliced bread) and sliced bread for toasts.
Currently the main distribution channels of the company are wholesalers, independent retailers, Ho.Re.Ca. In addition the company produces on behalf of third parties, mainly for the major large-scale Italian retailers.
The company is certified ISO 9001/2008, IQNET, Standard BRC and IFS, certificate of compliance Reg. 834/2007 (organic).
