Profile

The brand anona represents 180 years of successful business history. A compelling synthesis of tradition and future-oriented technology enabled a former grain mill to evolve into a modern food production undertaking. A company-internal preventive approach program based on the HACCP system and also the internal quality management system has been established to bolster the high standard already achieved.

With its R & D activities and the manufacturing of instant food products, cereals, base substances for ice cream production, innovative foodstuffs and food supplements, anona has made a name for itself both domestically and on the international market while acquiring the appellation »The Food Maker«.

Today, our Food Service and Food Design sections boast over 200 employees who - using precision, know-how and the spirit of innovation - develop and produce custom products from over 1000 different raw materials. At least as many different types of packaging are also involved.

Whether instant powder to make a shake or dietary food; soup or ready-to-serve beverages; liquid concentrates or dietary supplements in tablet, capsule or bar-form, anona places greatest emphasis on flexibility.

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
We are not Producer of palmoil, but we buy and work with certified palmoil for our products. We promote the RSPO Label on our Website. We always sensitze our clients and advertise, that we are certified and are able to produce RSPO certified products to erase raise the disposal of RSPO articles.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
Supporting RSPO by reaching and sensitizing our Clients to the vision of RSPO on Meetings and fairs.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
We stay very closely in contact with our suppliers. Our purchasing department as well as our R&D is frequently looking for new options of RSPO certified raw material.
