We are a manufacturing company of Canola seed oil, situated in the Western Cape of South Africa. Southern Oil is the only pressing & refining plant in South Africa. We also press maize germ and deal in the following oils: Sunflower, Grape seed, Extra Virgin Olive, Palm Olein, and blends thereof. We have been in business since 1996. We currently employ about 200 employees. We ran operation 24 hours, 7 days per week. We obtained our FSSC 22000 certification in April 2014 and are committed to the production of consistent high quality product safe for human consumption. Also deal in both canola and maize germ oilcake for the feed industry.

Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

    Focus will be to move all Palm business within company to RSPO, starting with mass balance and moving to segregation
