Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    EXTRACTORA EL ROBLE S.A.S, began a process of implementation of the principles and criteria of the RSPO in November 2013. Based on its system of quality management ISO 9001, EXTRARSA been adapted each of the P & C, allowing consolidate an integrated management system, involving the environmental component, safety and social management. With this help they are including sustainability criteria in all operations of the company and the staff is being trained in the subject. The company is also moving in this process with its suppliers and the communities in the area of influence, through the support and advice. Also implementing environmental and social programs.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    Our company has an area dedicated to the certification application and consolidation rules in search of continuous improvement. In the case of RSPO, we have a leader focused on ensuring the proper implementation of the P & C both in our organization and on our suppliers who have started the certification process. we conduct accompaniment our strategic partners and we have committees that allow a better understanding of the P & C internal level of the company and the stakeholders.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    Through our process management system, we will establish mechanisms for monitoring and control for each criterion standard. We will Conducting internal audits twice a year to ensure compliance with the implementation of each of the P &C; we will work in feedback the results and findings to strengthen weaknesses and potentiate the positive, working always on continuous improvement of our suppliers. Similarly we will conducting follow-up visits to each of the plantations and will train our suppliers in updates as they arise.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    With the Certified in RSPO, we hope to be a solid company in sustainability, ensuring the application of best practices in our processes. Also, strengthen our commitment to the areas of influences contributing to the development of our region.

    By actively participating in the community of the RSPO, our goal is to ensure social and environmental benefits of the parties involved, and to monetize and market recognition.
