TWIFO OIL PALM PLANTATIONS (TOPP) LTD was registered as a limited liability company on 23 February 1977 and issued with a certificate to commence business on 2nd June 1977. TOPP has 4,234 ha of Nucleus oil palm plantation and a 30T/hr palm oil mill.TOPP also provides extension services to 1,894 ha Smallholder Plantation and 3,300 Outgrower Project. TOPP buys about 50% of its FFB from 1,241 farmers on these 2 scheme Smallholders.

    1. Through education/awareness creation, participation in seminars/National Interpretation working groups.
    2. Incorporate RSPO management system into all business operations.
    3. Drive compliance/performance at all levels of the organization through goal setting & annual compliance/performance measurements & build agreed goals/targets into the corporate reward system.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    The company has put in place participatory procedures for engaging Stakeholders for Consultation and Communication for example. These procedures guide all engagements with employees, communities, suppliers, farmers and other interest groups.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    All stakeholders; Managers, Employees, Farmers, Suppliers have been involved in the wareness creation, training in RSPO business practices that relate to their role in the value chain for RSPO certified palm oil.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    By joining RSPO, TOPP would contribute to the production & trade in sustainable CPO/PKO and ultimate guarantee forests/habitats/environmental protection/preservation and responsible exploitation of natural resources.
