We at Ingoby Investments, t/a Africa Palm are a large processor and manufacturer of palm based products. We manufacture and distribute to many sectors such as industrial users, catering and food services and baking manufacturers. Africa Palm Products integrates the entire value chain from oil palm refining, processing, branding and distribution of a complete range of palm and palm kernel based oils and fats to global markets. Africa Palm Products not only produces and markets a wide range of products that cater to the daily needs of households across the South Africa, but also manufactures derivatives and intermediates for baking food and non food uses as well.

    Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    The RSPO symbol will appear on all our correspondences with suppliers and customers. It will also appear on our website and emanate through our mission of supplying sustainably sourced palm oil in the Southern African Market.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    We are actively engaging with our suppliers to procure RSPO certified palm oil. We are being the leaders in our market to procure sustainably sourced palm oil and we have made a commitment to procure sustainably sourced palm oil for our customers by end of year.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    We have engaged with BM Trada to perform an audit on our facility and assist us in aligning our systems with the RSPO principles. We are dedicated to sourcing sustainably sourced palm oil and have been actively engaging with suppliers and customers on RSPO certified palm oil.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    We feel that by applying the principles of RSPO we as an organization can be proud of adopting and procuring certifies sustainable palm oil. This will assist us in promoting the benefits of palm oil and further growing the palm oil industry in Southern Africa. We are committed to RSPO and look forward to supporting RSPO in Southern Africa.
