TSH Resources Berhad

The Group primarily operates in the cultivation and processing of oil palm. TSH Resources Berhad has had a modest start in the plantation industry where it all began in Sabah, Malaysia. The Group expanded its plantations in the Indonesian region spurred by leveraging on advanced oil palm tissue culture technology and developing its people with the set up of its plantation training centre in Kalimantan.

The Group is committed to sustainability initiatives, which have been an integral part of our way of doing business. Some of our Environmental success as follows:
1. Renewable Energy generation to supply to Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd and our own palm oil mills.
2. Removal of solid palm oil waste as feedstock for the Biomass/Biogas plants.
3. Accredited producer by the Forest Stewardship Council for the use of sustainable wood materials.
4. Approved CDM projects that qualify for carbon credits under the Kyoto Protocol.
5. Land development in a responsible manner to comply with the Environmental conditions and avoid biodiversity impairment. i.e. HCV & SIA were carried out by approved RSPO consultants prior to Land Clearing and Planting.
6. Sustainable forestry projects including enrichment planting and silviculture treatment under the Forest Management Unit Programme in Sabah In 2011, the Group set up a dedicated department to focus solely on the management of sustainability issues. Right now the team is on the verge of concluding ISPO certification for 2 Palm Oil Mills and 3 estates.
