Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
RSPO will be promoted internally via intranet communication with staff and externally via the encouragement for our suppliers to promote the use of sustainable palm.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
As well as encouraging our current suppliers to promote the use of sustainable palm, we will update our Approved Supplier Program to include the requirement for new suppliers to use sustainable palm or to be RSPO certified. Our procurement team will also be advised of this requirement so that the selection of new supplier could include the requirement for supplier to use sustainable palm.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
With our Approved Supplier Program, we have a supplier review system which facilitates good communication issues. A supplier self-assessment questionnaire will also be updated to include RSPO Principles and Criteria.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
By joining RSPO, we hope to increase the awareness of public to promote the use of sustainable palm.
