Sugarfayre produce edible decorations, typically for celebration cake and biscuit. Decorations include printed sugar plaques, rotary moulded sugar, printed wafer, Sweetmelts (TM) and Photocake (R). The majority of decorations are supplied to industrial bakeries, where they are incorporated into finished products for retail sale. Sugarfayre was founded independently in 1992, and was acquired by Culpitt Ltd in 2009. Both companies are owned by Decopac Inc, Minneapolis, USA. All companies are involved in the manufacture or supply of sugarcraft products. Palm oil is used in the manufacture of sugar paste, at approximately 4%. The business anticipates manufacture of some 500 tons paste per year, therefore utilising around 20 tons palm oil.
