FILET BLEU is a biscuit manufactory located in Quimper westhern France. FILET BLEU realize 45 M? turnover with 11.000 tons biscuit per year and 220 employees. The company is member of INTERMARCHE Group one of the major french distributor. 70% of Filet Bleu turnover is realized with INTERMARCHE and 30% with other customers such as : B to B, RHF, etc...

Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    Filet Bleu is beginning in RSPO membership process because some of our customers are interested in buying product containing sustainable ingredients.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    FILET BLEU commitment will be traduced by :
    - Marketing Department (communication to customers, maybe on our internet website, .....)
    - Purchasing Department (buying RSPO Palm Oil to RSPO members)
    - Quality Department (ensuring full traceability)
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    We will create a new material reference : "Huile de Palme RSPO" for ensuring full traceability from material implementing in recipe to consumer biscuit unit.

    We will buy RSPO Palm Oil to RSPO members suppliers for example : ALVA CELYS in France. Every years supplier will send us their RSPO certificate in validity.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    First of all, we will propose RSPO Palm Oil biscuits to our main customers. We hope RSPO certification will permit us to obtain new market and maybe realise every palm purchase in RSPO.
