    Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
SIPEF is committed to the RSPO for all palm operations, and this is regularly explained to all employees.
The commitment to RSPO is also made public, in company documents, reports and on our website. SIPEF is an active member of the RSPO, participating to multiple WG and sitting at the Board of Governors.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
Company procedures provide escalated systems to convey and address grievances and conflicts.
Our websites include dedicated sections for the confidential submission of grievances.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
All SIPEF palm oil mills and their supply bases are certified RSPO.
New operations are certified as soon as eligible under RSPO rules.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
