Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    In Hondupalma part of our training programs on environmental issues, has provided training to employees and associated companies on the principles and criteria of the RSPO standard and similarly palm industry in the country knows that the implementation process being in the company. Participates in meetings and trainings organized at national level, showing the interest of the company in preparing for certification.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    Hondupalma maintains open communication with their customers, community and stakeholders. Any inquiry, request or complaint is directed to the Board or senior management and is answered directly by them or delegated to the appropriate department. In this way a conflict is known to senior management and actions taken for resolution.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    Implementation of the RSPO criteria will be made through training to key suppliers of goods and services, establishing an implementation plan and coordinate and monitor progress in implementing the principles and criteria
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    Hondupalma is conscious of the importance of operating in an environmentally sustainable, there has come the interest of seeking certification and satisfy both the local and international standard, being an example for other companies that is possible operate sustainably with the environment.
