Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
Palm oil is used in many products. Many consumer goods companies use palm oil in their process. There is currently very little palm oil that is certified sustainable. To increase this amount, Giloil seeks to join hands with other organizations that use palm oil in requiring it's palm oil suppliers to be certified sustainable. Deforestation is a serious issue and has big impact on carbon emissions . It is a problem that requires action and leadership from governments, companies and NGOs working in partnership. No one group can find the answer by itself. Giloil is committed to playing an active role.
