Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    RSPO communicated by the organization through two-way methods, such as training, focus group discussions, or a short briefing on the field, while the method of one-way done through the dissemination of information through intranet media, publicity leaflets and banners. It was all done as an effort to all levels of worker awareness about the RSPO and all the components involved in the application of the RSPO.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    The organization considers that all related parties are the backbone of the organization operation, in that matter, periodically, the organization invites the community and government officials to conduct discussions and meetings to resolve matters related to the development of plantations and community
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    SSS as a large organization has a value Care for the Environment, for that, before starting an activity, the organization continually assess compliance and enforcement activities based on the RSPO principles and criteria. Related to suppliers, the SSS set up a Critical Vendor List, then the suppliers are evaluated for compliance based on compliance with regulations related accordance with RSPO principles and criteria.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    SSS is now a local company in Central Kalimantan, which always develop themselves, are involved in RSPO is a form of responsibility in compliance with all legal aspects related to plantation and efforts to ensure the sustainability of the environment that remain stable forever. And the FFB is one of the supporters of the plantation business continuity.
