Grievance Sr. Manager
Wathshlah G. Naidu first joined RSPO as the Grievance Manager in January 2017, and subsequently moved on to the position of Senior Manager of Grievance in September 2017. In this capacity, she is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the overall Complaints System. This includes continuous strengthening of the complaints and DSF mechanisms and procedures, aimed at promoting effective resolution of complaints and disputes.
Wathshlah comes to RSPO with more than 15 years of experience in human rights and humanitarian fields, with specific focus on gender and women’s human rights. Armed with an LLM in International Law (majoring in Human Rights & Humanitarian Law), she’s worked globally and nationally with UN agencies, governments and women’s human right NGOs, dealing with law and policy reform and advocacy related to violence against women; access to justice; development and economic rights; migration and trafficking; and conflict, transition and post conflict situations.
