It has been 5 years since the RSPO New Plantings Procedure (NPP) was first developed, and it is timely for the NPP to be updated to reflect relevant and important changes in the revised RSPO Principles & Criteria 2013. There is also a need to consolidate the different elements of the NPP (now found in separate documents) into a single coherent document to ensure that it provides the clarity and guidance required by RSPO members.

The updated NPP draft is now ready for public consultation. The public consultation period will be for 60 days, starting from 3rd August 2015 and ending 2nd October 2015. During this time, RSPO will also be organising several physical consultation workshops for interested members and stakeholders. Please find the details below.
