Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    Dr Oetker will respect the RSPO principles and takes responsibility in supporting the use of sustainable palm oil. Respective measures will be communicated to the public, as it has been done recently in our brochure ""Company and responsibility"" for 2010 and internally, e.g. by means of our internal employee magazine.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    Dr Oetker is open to suggestions and discussions concerning sustainable palm oil. The consumer opinion is regarded as valuable source of suggestions.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    Dr Oetker intends to be certified to the criteria of ""RSPO Supply Chain Certification System"". Furthermore, our aim is to use segregated palm oil from 2015 onwards.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    Social, economic and ecological responsibility are basic values for our daily business and part of our corporate identity. As a consumer good manufacturer, we specifically strive to ensure environment protection throughout the whole product life cycle, including the responsible use of resources. By joining the RSPO, Dr Oetker hopes to engage in an exchange of information with other stakeholders in order to bring forward the subject of sustainable palm oil.
