The RSPO Smallholder Working Group will be organising the 4th Smallholders Linking & Learning Session, an interactive platform for smallholders to exchange best practices, common issues, challenges and practical solutions to issues faced by smallholders.

Dealing with Slow Demand, Increased Capacities & Certification Requirements
The RSPO has been pushing on with its outreach efforts to raise awareness of certified sustainable palm oil in Europe, notably at the Expo Milan in Italy.
We are pleased to inform you that RSPO, in collaboration with the Malaysian Mediation Centre, would be organising a 2-day Conflict Resolution Training for RSPO members. Those who regularly, or have the potential to regularly face conflict situations in their field of work would find this training useful.
The International Conference and Exhibition on Palm Oil (ICE-PO) 2015 will be held at the Jakarta Convention Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 8 May 2015, hosted by GPPI (Gabungan Perusahaan Perkebunan Indonesia). With the theme ‘Indonesian Palm Oil, an Important Contributor for the Convergence of Food and Energy Security and Sustainability’ the event aims to address the global concern on food and energy in relation to environment issues and human population growth.
RSPO will be organising a 3-day basic Conflict Resolution through Bilateral Negotiation training in collaboration with the Indonesian National Mediation Centre (Pusat Mediasi Nasional), on 21-23 April 2015.
Conducted by Forest Trends, the RSPO Compensation Task Force (CTF) proposes 1.5-day workshop in Jakarta on February 3-4 2015 to learn about the practical aspects of designing and implementing biodiversity compensation projects. Attendance is free, but you must register by Jan 31.
