An experienced manager educated to post-graduate level, specialising in developing sustainable supply chains within complex fast moving FMCG environments. His areas of expertise lie in the fields of sustainable Supply Chains, Supply Chain Management and Strategy, Business Relationship Management, and Ethical Sourcing Producer development. Prior to joining Kraftfoods, Neil was at GREEN AND BLACK'S. He has extensive experience of managing various aspects of global supply chains; ranging from management of large agricultural plantations in Africa exporting to Europe and the Far East, management of procurement and logistics operations from South America, Europe and Australia for a UK fruit distributor to his current position as Head of Supply Chain for Green & Black’s.

BELINDA HOWELL
Retailers’ Palm Oil Group |

Representative for the Retailers’ Palm Oil Group. The group’s members are: Aldi-Sued Group; Asda (part of Wal-Mart Stores); Boots UK; Coles Supermarkets; Coop Switzerland; Delhaize Group; Federation of Migros Cooperatives; J Sainsbury; Marks & Spencer; Royal Ahold; Tesco Stores; The Body Shop International; The Co-operative Group; and Waitrose. Belinda Howell has extensive experience in business on sustainability and climate change. She has worked in-house for Boots; as Director of Business in the Environment; and as European Director of Sustainable Solutions for URS Corporation. She was CEO of a carbon management company from start up and founded her own company, Decarbonize, to advise international companies on sustainability strategy and early stage cleantech on corporate development. She started her career as a research & product development biochemist for the Overseas Development Natural Resources Institute and for Biocompatibles. Belinda’s qualifications include a first class MBA and she is a member of Scottish Power's Environment Forum.

AGATHE GROSSMITH
Sustainable Development Manager, Carrefour Group |

Agathe Grossmith’s remit includes environmental projects. As part of the Group Sustainable Development Department programme, Agathe contributes to the definition of the Group's policy and works towards upholding the policy within the Business Units' operationally and associated cross-functional departments. Prior to joining the Carrefour Group, she worked for the French retail association as an environmental advisor. Her objectives were to represent the sector enterprises towards stakeholders and the French administration, as well as contribute to the empowerment of the sector. A graduate in biology, trained as chemical engineer, she holds a post-graduated diploma degree of environmental engineering and management.

HIDDE-VAN KERSEN
Sustainability Director, IOI Loders Croklaan |

Responsible for developing and executing CSR and sustainability policies, including RSPO certification of all IOI plantations. Prior to joining Loders Croklaan in March 2011, he was director of the Waddenvereniging (2005-2011), a Dutch based nature conservation NGO that focused on the protection of Europe's largest tidal wetlands, the WaddenSea. Before that, he worked as a corporate communications consultant and issues specialist with MS&L (1998-2005) in The Netherlands and as sustainability officer with Shell UK (1996-1998) in Scotland. Mr Van Kersen holds a master degree in Public Administration (Leiden, Netherlands), a MBA degree (Edinburgh, UK) and is an executive member of RSPO.

MOHD NOR KAILANY

Mohd Nor Kailany began his career in FELDA in 1975, and is now a well respected member of the FELDA and sustainable palm oil community. He also represents various groups and is an active member of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), President of Director, Koperasi Kakitangan Felda Berhad (FELKOP), Board of Director, Felda Farm Products Sdn Bhd, Board of Director, Ladang Tai Tak (Kota Tinggi) Sdn Bhd, Board of Director, Felda Global Venture (Perlis) Sdn Bhd, Board of Director, and Felda Plantations Sdn Bhd to name a few. He graduated from Universiti Pertainian Malaysia (UPM) and has two qualifications from the UPM, Diploma of Agriculture and a Bachelor of Science, in Agribusiness. Aside from this he also garnered a Diploma of Information Technology from INTAN.

GERALDINE LIM
Managing Director, Relationship Management of Rabobank International |

Ms. Geraldine Lim is Managing Director, Relationship Management of Rabobank International and is based in Singapore. She is currently a Senior Relationship Banker where she manages relationships with the bank’s key clients within Rabobank’s wholesale client portfolio in South East Asia. In addition to her relationship management duties, Geraldine is the Regional Sector Head for the Grains & Oilseeds sector in Asia, where she is responsible for the overall strategy of the Grains & Oilseeds sector in Asia. She actively follows the developments of importance happening in the Grains & Oilseeds sector in Asia, working closely with the bank’s relevant product departments and Food & Agribusiness Research department and ensures that Rabobank’s knowledge is shared with various stakeholders and clients in the Grains & Oilseeds sector. Geraldine joined Rabobank in Singapore in 2010, having spent 11 years in ABN AMRO Bank/RBS Bank and 10 years with First National Bank of Boston in Singapore, where she managed relationship development with large corporates.

ONG ENG MUN
Area Director East Malaysia |

Ong Eng Mun is the Area Director East Malaysia of HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad. He assumed the role in March 2010 and currently oversees eight (8) HSBC branches in East Malaysia. Beside his focus on executing strategic initiatives to drive both the Retail Banking Wealth Management (RBWM) and Commercial Banking (CMB) business in East Malaysia, he also heads the Commercial Banking of the East Malaysia Region with major responsibilities in managing large and diversified business portfolio and client relationships. Mr Ong first joined HSBC Bank Malaysia in May 1982 as a Management Trainee. He went on to hold various managerial positions in several branches, Operations, Trade & Supply Chain (previously known as Trade Services) and Area Director for the Klang Valley region. In his last role as Head of Service Transformation, Mr Ong’s contribution was key in driving change management as well as increasing productivity and efficiency in work processes within the Bank. Mr Ong’s 29 years with the HSBC Group has equipped him with extensive knowledge and experience in the banking and financial industry.

JOHAN VERBURG
Coordinator Private Sector, Oxfam Novib |

Johan Verburg is responsible for the corporate contacts that Oxfam Novib, the Dutch affiliate of the poverty alleviation confederation Oxfam, has with multinationals on issues such as sustainable value chains and responsible investments. He has a background in consultancy on management and sustainability in Southern Africa and the Netherlands. His role in the RSPO is to represent social/development NGOs in the multi-stakeholder Executive Board, in alliance with local and international NGOs and with an international Oxfam mandate; Johan believes that Oxfam's balanced negotiation and well-embedded brokering serve a long-run strategic approach to transform this international commodity sector, which deals with large-scale resource constraint challenges (i.e. deforestation, land grabbing).

NORMAN JIWAN

He is trained in research, journalism, fire prevention, education, human rights & indigenous peoples in the international system, sustainable forest management certification, and sustainable palm oil certification. From 2004 onwards he has been active in representing Sawit Watch at the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Criteria Working Group (CWG), Verification/Certification Working Group (VWG), co-leader of RSPO Task Force on Smallholders (TFS), Indonesia National Interpretation Working Group (INA-NIWG), and Indonesia National Smallholders Working Group (INA SWG). In December 2008, he became a member of Executive Board of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) represents Sawit Watch. He is also the co-coordinator of the RSPO Ad hoc Working Group on HCV in Indonesia.
