| Â Conservation International\'s mission is to conserve the Earth\'s living heritage, our global biodiversity, and to demonstrate that human societies are able to live harmoniously with nature. Â A US-based international organization, CI is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation. CI applies innovations in science, economics, policy and community participation to protect the Earth\'s richest regions of plant and animal diversity. With headquarters near Washington D.C., CI works in more that 40 countries on four continents. Â Several CI divisions and field offices work on issues directly related to oil palm production. The Center for Environmental leadership in Business (CELB), a division of CI, works directly with field offices in the countries where oil palm production most threatens global biodiveristy and engages the private sector in order to develop practical solutions to conservation in productive landscapes. | ||||
