Genting Plantations Berhad* (""Genting Plantations""), a 54.7%-owned subsidiary of Genting Group, is one of the fastest-growing plantation companies listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. Incorporated in Malaysia on 29 September 1977, Genting Plantations was listed on Bursa Malaysia on 30 August 1982. On 30 June 2009, it had a market capitalisation of RM4.2 billion (US$1.2 billion).
