RSPO has received complaints from various NGO’s( Friends of Borneo, SAVE Wildlife Conservation Fund, Jakarta Animal Aid Network and others) on the proposed development of a Crude Palm Oil processing plant  in Kelurahan Kariangau, Kota Madya Balikpapan, East Kalimantan by PT Mekar Bumi Andalas a subsidiary of Wilmar International (member since 16 August 2005)

The complaints are in relations to breach of the RSPO Code of Conduct   :

RSPO considers any violation of human rights and environmental destruction as critical non compliance
We are investigating these complaints and  upon verification ; which is currently  being undertaken  - the case may be escalated  to the Complaints Panel
