Networking cocktail in The Hague, Netherlands

Follow up on the event

On 26 February the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Executive Board and Secretariat, together with the Dutch Task Force Sustainable Palm Oil, co-hosted a networking cocktail, entitled “Certified Sustainable Palm Oil: Leading the Market Transformation in Europe”. The successful and well-attended event took place in The Hague, the Netherlands, and gathered more than 80 participants. This cocktail gave RSPO members and stakeholders the opportunity to discuss the transformation of the palm oil market in Europe and the important role Europe plays in the global move towards a sustainable future. The event was organised on the occasion of the RSPO Executive Board meeting which took place on February 27 and 28.

Darrel Webber, Secretary General of the RSPO, gave the opening welcome address, which was then followed by keynote speeches from Jan Kees Vis, President of the RSPO Executive Board and Global Director Sustainable Sourcing at Unilever, Juliane Eykelhoff and Eddy Esselink, representatives of the Dutch Task Force Sustainable Palm Oil, and finally by Raymond de Roon, Member of the Dutch Parliament.
