Vision: “To transform markets to make sustainable palm oil the norm”

The RSPO thanks all members in advance for their commitment towards the process of completing the Annual Communications of Progress (ACOP) and Time Bound Plan (TBP). It is a critical part of achieving our vision. It is also a requirement under Member’s Code of Conduct1 as reinforced by the resolution voted in at GA8 on March 2012 that all Ordinary Members must submit a TBP with their next ACOP report.

This year's template has been refined to meet the demands and directions of RSPO’s vision in transforming markets to make sustainable palm oil a norm. It therefore focusses on measuring members’ progress on their commitments and actions in all parts of the supply chain. This report covers the reporting period of July 2011 to June 2012 in compliance with RSPO’s financial year. Deadline for each year’s submission of ACOP will be September 25, 2012.

“Please note that RSPO members who joined before 1 July 2011 are required to submit the 2011-2012 Annual Communications Of Progress & Time Bound Plan. Members who joined after, though not obliged to, are encouraged to submit their time bound plan promoting sustainable palm oil”

For transparency, all reports will continue to be published (as they were in the previous years) on the RSPO website within the respective membership profile pages. All information submitted will be publicly shared except where specifically stated otherwise. For the second consecutive year, information published on the RSPO website will also include:

  1. List of member companies from various stakeholders who have submitted the ACOP and TBP
  2. List of member companies from various stakeholders who have not submitted ACOP and/or TBP
  3. An analysis of the information provided
  4. Information will be presented and shared during this year’s Roundtable Meeting on Sustainable Palm Oil (RT10)

We kindly request that the submitted data be as robust and accurate as possible. Please provide reasons for any non-disclosure of information requested.
