Dear visitor,
Welcome to the RSPO website. In the global village we
live in, we can and do communicate in ways that are
unprecedented. Through this message, I may be reaching
thousands of you and never be the wiser. I do hope of
course, that you came to this website for a reason
though. For the reason that you care about the future of
palm oil in the same way we do. RSPO is dedicated to
contribute to the expansion of sustainably produced palm
oil and its uses. By working together, producers,
processors, traders, consumer goods manufacturers,
retailers, banks and investors, Non-Governmental
Organisations, scientists; we can make it happen. We can
ensure that palm oil continues to make a contribution to
economic development in many parts of the world, to be a
valuable part of the diet of many, to be a valued
ingredient in many products, either for food or personal
grooming or cleaning, and to play an important role in
nature conservation in some of the biodiversity hot
spots of this world.
Please let us know what you think. If you have ideas or
thoughts on how we can improve the way we work and the
way we communicate with you, let us know. We would
appreciate it.
I do
hope you will come visit us again.
Sincerely yours,
Jan Kees Vis
